Optimal comfort zone.
Thermo R Vent technology works on the premise that athletes perform best when even temperature is achieved throughout the full range of athlete activity levels. Our team took on the challenge of developing an adaptive system that cools the body when it is warm and warming it when it is cool.
Heat buildup.
Laboratory research uncovered primary heat buildup zones. The location of these zones guided the design of the Thermo R Vent jacket.
Movement analysis.
Garment analysis allowed us to identify stress zones; areas in which the garment fabric moved excessively. Later these points would be converted into active cooling zones.
Adaptive dynamic.
Stress zones were connected into five active cooling zones. The garment architecture leveraged the athletes motion by opening and closing ventilation channels in real-time creating on-demand, adaptive cooling and warming.
Performance validation.
Thermo activated camera technology was used to validate functionality and benefits against other products.
An icon is born.
The strength of this product is in the design. The functional dynamic of the garment informed the visual language creating a new iconic profile.
